Girls Football Tournament

On the 4th of November Imberhorne School held a five a side girls football tournament.

Four primary schools - Copthorne, St Marys's, Estcots and Halsford Park competed in this round robin event. The girls competed with great enthusiasm and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the competition. It was fantastic to see so many enjoying their football.

Mr Hill and the HSLA students oragnised and ran the event, which covered everything from referees to refreshments! Overall the event was a success, and we hope to run future girls football tournaments.

The girls loved their medals given to them in the final presentation, and schools came in the following order: In fourth place was Copthorne, third place was Estcots, second place went to St Mary's, and finally the winners of the competition were Halsford Park.
