The High Fives Netball Tournament

On the 3rd of March 2010 schools in East Grinstead gathered around and began a high fives netball tournament at G4s netball club/sports centre.

There were schools from Blackwell to Ashurst Wood, Estcots to Baldwins Hill , Turners Hill to St. Peters, West Hoathly, and of course St. Marys.

There was a year six tournament and a year four tournament. It all started when we were playing our first game and that's when all the competitiveness and excitement filled the encouragement. The teams all got to play at least four matches. All the teams played really fair and had a great time and they loved every single minute of it. Everybody had finished their matches and had lost all their energy with the hard work they put in until Mr Hill started to talk about the presentation. He went through the places of the year four and five teams until he came to the winners … and the winners are … ST.MARYS!

All the excitement came and then went ready for the year six results they went through the places of the teams until it got to the number ones… and the winners are… ST.MARYS!!!

It was a good run for St.Marys and all the other teams as they are all winners and brilliant netballers too!!!
