Chartham Park donate a TRI GOLF set to Primary Schools

On Wednesday 29th September Chartham Park, through their Head of Coaching, Ben Knight, donated a TRI GOLF set to the East Grinstead cluster of Primary Schools. There to receive the fantastic equipment was Steve Hill (School Sports Co-Ordinator for Imberhorne School), Elaine Foxwell (Primary Link Teacher for St. Mary's) and Judith Smith (Primary Link Teacher for West Hoathly).

Chartham Park made the kind donation as recognition for the strong links that have been built up between the club and the East Grinstead Schools as well as the Mid-Sussex School Sports Partnership (led by Lorraine Everard). Chartham have been able to send Ben Knight into the local schools to increase the awareness of golf and the opportunities available at the club, as well as develop some of the core skills required by young people to play the game.

Steve Hill (Imberhorne SSCO) said: "It was a really kind gesture by the club and I am really grateful to them and Ben for all of their hard work in the local schools (including St. Mary's and West Hoathly pictured). I know the school children have loved having Ben in to run the TRI GOLF sessions and loads of the schools have already enquired about using the new equipment."
