Road to Eastbourne 2009

On the 20th of June 2009 eight pupils from St. Mary's school went to Devonshire Park in Eastbourne to play tennis for the school and had a wonderful surprise at the end !

St. Mary's were up against nine Sussex schools in 'The Road to Eastbourne' finals and compete in a variety of games including:

Serving games
Tennis Rounders
Obstacle Courses

A presentation on centre court took place in between the ladies and men's finals and we came

2nd in the whole of Sussex!

The tennis was played by Owen, Megan, Amelia, Liam, Mia, James, Jonathan and Lucy.
