School raises £265 for Sport ReliefSport Relief Fun Run (15th-19th March) The Sport Relief Fun Run, organised by the HSLA team and Steve Hill turned out to be a huge success with over 700 students in years 7, 8 and 9 participating. The students walked, ran, hopped, skipped and even crawled their way around the 300 metre track which included hurdles, zigzags and other obstacles for 3 minutes each. All who participated showed enthusiasm and sportsmanship whilst having great fun alongside friends and teachers alike. The amount of metres collectively ran by each form were calculated, with the winning form from the combined years being S, who travelled over a staggering 65,000 metres. Second were Y and not far behind them were V in 3rd place. Overall, the children ran 600 km, 23 London Marathons or the equivalent of East Grinstead to Cardiff and back. The HSLA team would like to say well done and thank you to all who took part and give a special mention to those who purchased a Sport Relief wristband for a £1.
