Never too late for Wimbledon!?

Wimbledon hopefuls got to grips with the grass courts of East Grinstead Lawn Tennis Club at the annual East Grinstead Primary School Mini Red Tennis Tournament.

The tournament, which took place back in May, saw NINE schools take part in the Yr3/4 age group.

They all had a fantastic day playing festival games as well as mini red matches. The winners of the event will also be given a shot at playing at the important pre-Wimbledon build-up event at Eastbourne.

The top three teams in East Grinstead were:

1st = Turners Hill
2nd = Blackwell
3rd = St. Mary's
